Build Timetable & Access Passes
All vehicles must present an access pass upon arrival to the ‘South 3’ Lorry Park.

Site Rules and CDM Regulations
Please read the Site Rules and CDM Regulations and download your Access Passes. Onsite, when you reach the halls you will need to exchange your Access Pass for a CDM wristband to enter the hall. CDM points will be located as follows:

CDM Personal Protective Equipment Requirements (PPE)
Contractors and exhibitors are required to wear suitable protective clothing relevant to their job.
Protective footwear should be worn at all times. No open toed shoes, flip flops or high heels will be allowed into the Hall during build up or breakdown.
High visibility jackets must be worn in all locations where vehicles are operating (i.e. loading bays) and on space only stands.

NEC Services
To arrange rigging, piped services (water, waste, pressured air/gas) please order directly with The NEC.
There will be NO red phones in the Organiser Office or Service Desks in the halls for you to contact the NEC regarding orders for compressed air, water and waste, rigging or internet. Once on site you will need to ring 0121 767 3253 from your mobile and select option 1 to place a new order or option 2 to discuss an existing order.
Carpet Tape
For carpet tape, there are two NEC approved suppliers:
Please note: There are a number of fake ‘NEC Approved’ carpet tape suppliers online, in particular on eBay. Any floor dilapidations including tape residue or floor stickers which require a repair or floor paint will be chargeable.

Working at height should always be performed in a safe way using the right equipment.
Working at height in an unsafe way can lead to a dangerous situation for both the worker and others who may be working close by as a fall can result in serious or fatal injuries.

Covid Rules

The NEC will be checking for proof of your COVID-19 status at the following points:
Please ensure you test prior to your arrival at the NEC and bring an adequate supply of lateral flow test kits with you for the duration of your stay.
Once your COVID status is proven you will be given a wristband by the NEC – this will need to be checked and changed every other morning.
If you are doing lateral flow tests every 48hrs please ensure you bring a sufficient number of tests with you as there are no testing facilities available at the venue.

Voyage Control System
All vehicles must reserve a timeslot for their vehicle via the NEC Voyage System. To set up your account and book a time slot please follow this link: NEC – Voyage Control.
Unloading time is allocated based on the size of the vehicle. Please note, an overstay charge of £50 applies on all build up / restocking days, if a vehicle has exceeded its unloading time and removal has been requested but not actioned.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU USE GOOGLE CHROME OR MICROSOFT EDGE AS THE PREFERRED BROWSERS
Name Boards
All shell scheme stands are provided with a fascia name board bearing the exhibiting company’s name and stand number in standard script (max. 32 characters & spaces).
If you haven’t done so already please complete this form and send it to: nameboards@showlite.co.uk, otherwise your company name will be listed as it is on your contract.
Show Open – Exhibitor Badges
Remember to register for your exhibitor badges here. They will be available for collection from the registration area from 2pm on Monday 27th September.
Parking at the NEC
During Build-Up : Once you have unloaded your vehicle, traffic will require you to move this from the rear of the halls to an outer area car park. During the build (and breakdown) periods parking is free for exhibitors and contractors – more information is available in the NEC’s Exhibitor Handy Tips for Parking & Traffic.
During Open Period : Vehicle passes for the show open period will be distributed onsite by the Med-Tech Innovation Team.
Please note, the allocation is 2 parking passes per stand. If you require additional parking this can be booked via the NEC website.
